Livelihood & Governance
People’s Rights and Entitlements always take a front seat of PRAKALPA’s endeavour. Efforts are being made to access the entitlements by the community under RTI, MGNREGA, FRA, JJ Act and PCPNDT Act etc. To strengthen the community at household level, various livelihood activities are being implemented.
Nutrition & Health
Innovative projects have been designed and implemented to enhance the nutritional aspects building the capacities of the front line functionaries, PRI members, tribal leaders and community under IYCF. Efforts are being made to make available the health services at the doorsteps of the communities.
Child Rights & Education
PRAKALPA has set up a centre called Institute of Juvenile Justice to protect the rights of the children and also ensures proper implementation of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. Models have been created to educate the primitive tribe girl children in low literacy pockets.
Women Development & Empowerment
As women are equal partners of development, PRAKALPA addresses the issue very seriously. Shelter Homes for women in difficult circumstances have been established as well as long term plans are in place to empower women through various people’s organisations.
